Walking Dead Let The Count Down Begin

 From YouTube, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TT33gpniNE&feature=youtu.be

I decided to switch things up a bit and talk about the Walking Dead. Season four of The Walking Dead will air on October 13. Many of viewers might have been wandering what’s in store for next season, so I want to give you a little inside scoop.

In the first episode, many of the residents of Woodbury have migrated to the prison, according to San Jose Mercury News Entertainment. Instead of barren land, like in the previous season, the prison will have horses and gardens.

There will also be a lot of new faces added to episodes. With a bunch of new faces there is a new leadership system, a governmental council, which will work toward making sure everyone is safe. Everyone works together to do farming and chores. Scott Gimple, who now is running the show instead of Gale Hurd, made the decision to bring in more people.

Entertainment Weekly reveals in an interview with Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl, revealed there are 50 new inhabitants joining the group. “It’s weird to delegate authority to newbies in the group and on set,” says Reedus. “It’s odd, to be honest. Starting the season, there’s certain techniques that the writers are using to integrate the storylines of other people and it’s interesting.”

Gale Anne Hurd, the executive producer said, “Our characters respond in different ways. Some rise to the occasion, while it brings out the worst in others.”

Reedus states, that with a lot of new characters there is less action occurring. “I know Andy [Andrew Lincoln] going into the first episode was like ‘Man, when are we getting back together? When are we going to kill something? I’m farming. I’m doing pigs. I mean, what the hell?’ This suggests that the first few episodes will explain characters more and set up a story instead of killing zombies.

Also Tv Guide states, viewers will see some of the characters from the Walking Dead comic books including U.S. Army veteran Bob Stookey. Writers now are working on finding a way to fit more comic book characters in. So don't be surprised if you see a few characters from the comic book.

As for the Govenor, his location will not be revealed until later on in the season, according to Entertainment Weekly. We do have one hint as to what will happen in the season from a quote by Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick. “We’re going to meet again. And there will be blood as they say,” said Lincoln.

Previous seasons have started out with huge fighting season so as viewers we will have to hope the first episode will include a major zombie slaughtering. What do you think the first episode will be about? Do you think having a bigger group will cause more problems? Please comment below.
