Sleepy Hollow Solomon's Book Helps Sisters To Fight Together

From youtube, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGyG1TfxhV0

Once again Sleepy Hollow delivers a great performance in the fourth episode, The Lesser Key of Solomon, by combining the legends of Solomon's book, and the Boston Tea Party. This week the episode started off with the revolutionary act of the Boston Tea Party. Ichabod’s mission was to get a chest from the Redcoat ship but a Redcoat, a Hessian, risks his life to protect the chest. The story flashes back to Ichabod telling his story to a woman on Northstar who begins to cry over the phone.

Abbie runs out to tell Ichabod her sister escaped the asylum. Out of leads they decide to find Jenny’s foster parents, one of which gave her a hint that she used to run away to a cabin in the woods.

I thought one of the most shocking points was when we learned Jenny had a close relationship to Sheriff Corbin. Considering Sheriff Corbin confronted Abbie about changing her criminal ways and several years later they were able to work together as partners, I found it strange he kept such a huge secret from her.

The Miller sister’s rivalry still remains as both sisters draw guns on each other. But Ichabod tries to become the voice of reason by putting an end to disputes.

All clues connected this week, as Jenny was the keeper of the next clue that projected an image onto the screen. After seeing the image there is a huge fight scene in which they capture a member of the 5th Battalion, a Shadow Warrior who takes cyanide to keep from revealing more information. I thought it was unique that the chest filled was with treasures and gold, like in most movies, it contained the book of Solomon.

When Abbie, Jenny, and Ichabod find out the book written by King Solomon was located at the Church, they arrive just as two of the horsemen's followers are reading from the book. Ichabod comes to Abbie and Jenny's rescue once again. However Abbie is the one who has real control over her and Jenny's relationship as she has to decide whether to save her sister which would release all of the creatures or to save mankind.

But another thing that puzzled me was why didn't the church protect the book. The book was a legend that even Jenny knew about along with its location. The Church had been around when Ichabod was alive, so it made me question why it wasn't guarded.

We found out the horned creatures name, the Moloch who has appeared since the first episode. The Moloch who is the child sacrifice demon, led the revolt against heaven. It is no wonder why he attacked the Miller sisters when they were kids; maybe he wanted to use them as a child sacrifice. To make matters worse he is the creature that is head of the horsemen. Just when we thought the horsemen were head of the pedestal we were handed another higher evil being. Hopefully by the end of the season producers will reveal what really happened to the Miller sisters in the woods?

Overall I give the show a B- for giving more information on the Miller sister's past but I think we need to know more about their past and why the Moloch wanted them. There is another question that still remains: will Abbie and Jenny be able to act like sisters? In my opinion I think time will only tell. What do you think?  Please share your ideas below.
