The future of Sleepy Hollow

Tweet from +Sleepy Hollow

Guess what Sleepy Hollow fans? There’s going to be another season. From a Tweet Sleepy Hollow let its fans know first. So you may ask, what will next years season be like? According to Entertainment News Weekly the next season in 2014 will consist of 13 episodes, just like this season.

After the premiere there were 13.6 million viewers, mostly from ages 18 to 49 who watched the show. It is astonishing to think that this was more viewers than the amount of people who watched the premiere of Fox’s show 24 in 2001.

Kevin Reily, Fox’s entertainment chief, reveals his thoughts on the show this year and its potential for next year. “The show has proven to be a risk well worth taking – it’s a conceptual blast unlike anything else on television and it all holds together with inventive writing and a fantastic cast,” said Reilly. “I can’t wait for fans to experience what else is in store for this fall and even more of this wild ride into Season Two.”

The LA Times states “typically, a broadcast TV series runs as a series of 22 episodes. Fox, however, only ordered 13 episodes for the first season and has ordered 13 episodes for Season 2.”
But do not worry; there is still hope for next season to have more episodes. Vulture an online site states, “insiders say it’s still possible that number could increase at a later date.”

So what is your reaction about hearing there will be another season? Feel free to comment below.
