Sleepy Hollow Headless Horseman Strikes Again

video from: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFP_5ZrcRok

The headless horseman is back but this time the story takes place in present day New York. The show starts off with a bang, as Ichabod Crane is involved in the Revolutionary War. Ichabod Crane, played by Tom Mison, finds himself waking up several hundred years later dazed and confused. Crane remained frustrated throughout the show due to him being in a world, which saw him as crazy as he saw the rest of the world.

There was one part where the humor fell flat, when he asked how many Starbucks were in the area. But for the most part Crane’s and officer Abbie Mills relationship remains a love-hate relationship in which neither agrees on each others customs except that they have had a past with the headless horseman.
The show was pretty unpredictable through the entire plot twists and trying to associate which characters were associated with the horseman and which were trying to send messages to Crane. The parts where the horseman threw his axe barely missing several characters heads or the dramatic parts where he made himself visible were the most suspenseful parts of the show. The gore was most shown when officer Mill bit her coworker’s finger leaving a lot of blood, and when the headless horseman decapitated several innocent, citizens’ heads. But overall I give this episode a B+ because I thought the episode covered too much and could of been split into multiple shows.
What did you think of the first episode? Feel free to comment below.
