The Walking Dead A New Twist

Tonight’s episode was called “30 Days Without An Accident” but as expected there were quite a few. From zombies attacking the survivors at a supermarket to trusting whether to trust new survivors are just a few aspects that were in this week’s episode.

The prison is now a peaceful farm with pigs, horses, and gardens. The survivors even formed a new form of a government a council.

Rick’s trust gets tested by a strange woman he finds alone in the woods who wants to join the group of survivors at the prison. When she brings him back to her camp she reveals her husband is a zombie under a blanket. It gets worse, she tries to kill Rick but her plan does not work out. She resorts to killing herself to be with her husband a sort of romantic, sad, and crazy gesture.

The scene in the supermarket was by far one of the goriest episodes thus far. Zombies were falling through the ceiling onto the ground while some got caught and were dangling while blood squirted onto isles. The zombies that survived the fall came in full force attacking every human in sight.

A new survivor, who was trapped under a shelf, tries to save himself by pulling of layers of skin on a zombie’s head but has a hard time. Just when I thought he was a goner, Daryl appears out of nowhere and crushes his scull with his foot, instead of his arrow.

At the end of the episode 30 days without an accident turns into zero days when Beth’s boyfriend Zack dies. Just when another couple was added to the show one was killed off. Then again maybe Carl and Beth can rekindle their love.

Also, things might take a turn for the worst because of a new zombie being trapped in the prison. When the character Patrick rushes to the bathroom after coughing up blood he suddenly collapses to the ground. Shocker Patrick is far from dead due to the virus that rums through every human being. It then becomes active once they die turning them into zombies.

Overall I think that the episode was very good because it covered something that the show has never covered, crazy survivors, trust issues, and having a democracy.

Do you think Rick could of saved the women alone in the forest or could he have avoided the whole situation? Please share your observations and opinions of the episode below.
